Song Description

a process piece, similar to my 99th song project. a program sampled all my tunes and assembled repeating patterns of snippets to form two tracks. then i imported into GarageBand to arrange and add some bass and drums, and some background. then into Audacity for some sculpting and mastering

it's too easy to slide into hopelessness, and it can keep you stuck. stay focused on staying as positive as you can. yeah, easier said than done

Digging the variations and kicked forward groove. Precisely jammed and throughly amazed by the nicely arranged sounds of a new sound experience here. Real cool and true to you my man! Production Magic.

Hi Bill.......
I like this piece. The repetitive theme is great and everything is mixed together so well it's as though it was made that way instead of as sampled portions of other tunes.

Great idea.

Take care.

Lost for words
but I'll try.

Just very, very weird.

You really come up with interesting ideas and considering it's such a mixture of sounds this holds together amazingly well.

Blow away. Thanks for the download. What program did this sampling for you? I am totally curious. I am always looking into arpeggiators and machines that take all the grunt work out of creating mathematical sound jams. This is brilliant. I love the fact that you have become unstuck - this proves it.

i think that mixing is a totally separate thing from performance / loop assembly. for example it's entirely possible to do a great mix of 100% ambient sounds to create a thing (music? whatever it is) - sound knows few limits

what program did this - it's a software atrocity. works on Mac OS X 10.6.7 - you're welcome to try it. let me know!

stay that way unless being tested, some serious sculpting, I like the wood grain some parts in this get very dance like, I some fabulous drums and bass ,intense around 3:05 when those drums really start kickin in is like a grand crescendo The voices at the end is great touch!

Looking up from down here is the new normal. I'm actually happier than all those times I didn't realize I was happy because I was just cruising along. Now the game is on and I'm digging it. Digging this too.

It says in the Bible.... (somewhere in there I've heard tell)...."Make a joyful noise...." Didn't say one whit about being 'on key' LMAO Is that the "F" word, or just my quirky imagination? ;~P Some song by [????] said, "Express Yourself" Who gives a darn if you don't get on the cover of Rolling Stone ;~P [[Grand Funk R.R.]] You will always be perfect in my fifteen year old's eyes' memory. : ) So, just CREATE (or wail on some hinky version of Metallica's 'Sandman' 'til you get the blahs out of your system. Find your smile......the one I'll never forget. : )

Genre Info
Experimental music is any music that challenges the commonly accepted notions of what music is. There is an overlap with avant-garde music. John Cage was a pioneer in experimental music and defined and gave credibility to the form. As with other edge
