I'm not sure what to make of this piece myself, so what other people will make of it I have no idea; I hope you all enjoy it. Messing about with a package of PD sound effects and some synths that I tweaked in GarageBand. Thanks to Smokey for the EQ suggestion in his comment on the earlier version; it seems like an improvement to me now I've acted on it.

less harsh!
Yes that sounds like an improvement!! Not that there was anything particularly wrong with the first version. Very philip glass. Nice.

There's a story here. I wish I knew what it was. Nevertheless, the sounds you have assembled have a pleasant ring to them (and I don't just mean all the little bells). There's something awfully peaceful and uncomplicated about this creation that makes it an engaging number. I sort of wish it "went" somewhere after about 2 minutes...yes, there's the walking again...and the sea shore (or is that a wind-swept desert...or the local mall?)...here come the bells again. Interesting number.

The concept is good, the intro excellent, the rest is interesting. The sounds fit together well and tell a story of sorts. The quality is good.

Take care.

Living in London, England, and I love the place. I have masses of energy and tons of interests, far too many to list here, even if I restricted myself to my musical tastes. Grew up in a small town, knew nothing much till I left and came to Lond... [see more]
