String Impromptu
Lilting lines. I like the blend of the cut of the individual violin and the warmth of the other parts. There is great virtuosity here and I think the piece could easily be incorporated into something more melodic as a contrast. Still, much enjoyed as is.

Played on acoustic strings,
this would be quite wonderful...and I hope you get that chance one day. I wonder if you write any of this out. This particular quartet is so interesting and unpredictable. If you can get it written out, there are probably small ensembles that would love to give it a go. Inventive and engaging, certainly with an improv quality, but controlled...Wow. The double stops around 3:18 are really cool. What string set of plug-ins are you using? Marvelous!
