Throw in a banjo and we'll catch it.
Out here in the country.

This is different for you. I like the 'zepplin' mando.
Are these all GB loops, I think not? Rythmic. I guess
you rushed this one a little bit (esspecially the
drums) compared to some of your other stuff. Great
little loops. Are you sure you're not from appalacia?

Deliverance meets the Dukes of Hazzard. Nice
arrangement Deputy. Roscoe P. Coltrane would be proud.

I thought the banjo and mandolin were offset nicely with
the urban percussion. Cool stuff.

Thanks for the overly-nice comments. lol
I know this tune is crap but I wanted to have some fun in the "country" genre of the Garageband browser. Mission accomplished. :D

Jump in the POOL
I recognized a couple of loops, chopped slightly with
different instruments assigned... but I swear there was a
POOL in there (backwards loop) too? Melody/chords in
some spots remind me a tiny bit of the awesome "Giving
Up" by MissChaos. Hey, maybe we should force her to use
a banjo and a cowbell and see what she comes up with? I
can see the new Reality TV show now... "If you were on a
desert island with Garageband, a banjo, and a cowbell,
what would you come up with to go platinum?" With this
tune, I think you sailed easily off the island, good job!

Solid.......but a little boring.
For a loop based piece here, I think that you have a good
sound composition here. I have never messed with these
particular loops myself, so it was great to hear them.

The level that you mixed down at is very well on target
and not clipped at all. Nice work on that.

I think that one thing I would improve on, if it were me,
would be the overall dynamic range of the piece. While
you do a great job at introducing different densities and
textures which does give some dynmaic variation, the
whole piece could benefit from more in the dynamic
departement. Also add some spice to it. Everything is
really nice and perfect sounding..........and maybe that is
the way you wanted it to be, but it could help out the
interest level on this piece if you were to add something
off the wall. Maybe a really wild banjo solo in the midst.
Maybe not.

The very last section of the piece also has a loop that gets
just a tad repetitive. Perhaps it just plays out like one or
two bars too much, or maybe you could just use some
more variety right there at the end.

Anyway good song as is so keep in mind that my
suggestions are if you choose to take this song further on,
and they are really nit picky things.

Thanks, 3M's, but you only needed to post your critique once. lol
Can't please all the people all the time and I can't say country is even remotely a favorite genre of mine.
I won't be working to improve this tune because it was done in fun (and I'm lazy).

This is more interesting to me than Garth Brooks
But I'm not a Garth Brooks fan (I wouldn't call what he
does country, but that's another argument for another

You need a saw in this. I wonder if there's an audio unit
musical saw out there.
