I just love that Corn Bread. I just love it with beans.
Grits in the morning, beans at night.
red beans black beans or the white.
There's all kind's of food found on this old earth.
I've been eating cornbread since my day of birth.
wheat bread, rye bread they both have a place
But from where I'm standing cornbread wins the race.
I eat beans and rice it all tastes so fine.
I like drinking coffee it's as good as wine.
Pass the gravy it goes good on rice.
Honey on the cornbread nothing tastes as nice.
Serve it nice and hot watch the butter melt.
Making me so hungry cornbreads what I smelt.
Grab a chair and sit yourself right down.
You're about to have the best there is around.

Yeah, man. What could be better than cornbread? Well done, tune. I remember reading that for Thomas Jefferson's America, bread meant cornbread; it was eaten three times a day.

Some nice playing and singing going on here. You sure must like your corn bread. The lo fi recording gives it an authentic, old time feel. Thanks, Peter.
