Description
instrumental - freely open to use, just don't sell it without my permission. you know, the usual disclaimer.

took the samples out of some Indian music - it's only two different pieces mixed together. What was fun was 'chopping' the samples old school style - people don't find it incredibly difficult to do this, but I think it does take a lot of 'fine-tuned' precision.

Some may be disappointed because I know I've been doing the synthesizers recently, but I just couldn't really taint the sample - it sounded to good to me.

Only dismay - the track was an mp3 file. Hopefully I'll be able to find the original CD/record one day.

Peace homies - enjoy. And please, again, rap over this track. Nothing makes me happier. I just appreciate it when people message me once they've done some rhymes over it - doesn't have to be anything crazy or amazing... as long as you stay on beat, I'm going to love it. Track is 90 BPM - the sweet spot.

3xOSC
or 3xOCS - something like that, it's a midi maker built into fruity loops. I just manipulate the type of waves on teh sound (sine wave, etc.) - layer them up with three different types of waves. then you drop the sound into the lower octaves, and bam, you got a booming bass. It's a built in VST for fruity loops - if you have ANY type of midi maker which allows you to make any sound you want in your production software, you should be able to create a similar sounding bass line. But really, that's all there is to it - i barely tweak anything outside of the 'sine' wave or whatever, and it just sounds good for some reason. Sometimes I use 'bass' VST's, but they don't pump as much as pure midi in the lower octaves.

Nice!!!
Good to see you're still making music. Loving the use of the sample. And despite what some may say, using a sample is an art and it doesnt come easy to 90% of us. It takes a lot of patience and precision to integrate a break into a track.

I've been producing as long as I've been on mac jams. not really producing= - just throwing tracks together. I hope to one day learn how to truly 'master' a track, how to sample better, and how to make nice sounding synths. I JUST learned how to do d... [see more]
