I'm in the middle of this project... next step - adding some beat poetry. Added sax on Friday. My neighbor Steve, a highly creative writer/photographer and I are collaborating on this project. It's all his writing and I set it to music. we have 4 songs in the can up to this point... We spend many a night sitting in the backyard discussing life, work, relationships and which pony keg to buy next. We have a gate between the yards that never closes. this tune is music only.

The guy next door?
Oh, lots of atmosphere. Needs a head? There are details in the arrangement that lend a richness to the composition. Five on four perhaps?
Perhaps a bit of singing round the fire? A melody may jump out of the coals... Great to see you sharing a project with us here.

Daug drops in
a work iin progress... five on four- cool with that. Its a sound bed for some spoken word so maybe no melody on this one. Glad to be sharing and glad you took a listen.

Cool backer
Enjoying the variations in mood - should be heaps of space for Steve to ruminate on.
Cheers from Oz,

jazz space
This has nice spacing in it. The mood in this one suits well for some spoken word bits. I look forward to hearing the next iteration.

Thanks for the download

Backyard Chill
Atmospheric vibe with an touch of tension in the underlay. Will be keen to hear how this develops with the spoken word additions. Staring into a fire with a beer in hand is a universal tonic for all the world's ills. Especially later in the evening... :-)

So this is Shoegazer!
I was curious about what the 'Shoegazer' genre was, so this was the first track I clicked. I agree with a few others; the section that started at around 2:30 is really cool! I'm a new fan of Shoegazer :)
