Tea in the Sahara( Groovehounds way)

 Genre: Rock

Get Flash to see this player.

At the last Groovehound jam Donnie wanted to do a take on a Police tune ....(but done the Groovehounds way)
... Donnie is very influenced by Sewart Copeland ...
This is live off the basement floor ... so it's raw in areas especially when the guitar starts to bite.
We added some harmonies around the ribbon mic ...

Donnie MacNeil drums lead vocals beer
Stan Gadziola guitar BG vocals mix
Rob George engineer/gearhead bass BG vocals

Tea in the Sahara
Didn't really lock into the Police when they were big so I don't think I have heard this before. Classic three piece band vibe. Plenty of atmosphere and nice anchoring by Rob. I can appreciate the mix challenges of this live recording style but I thought the lead vocal could have been a touch more prominent? Thanks, guys. Take care.

Tea in the Sahara
Thumping bass, biting guitar, solid and interesting drum part, plaintive vocal. Put it all together and you have another Hounds hit! Impressive, as always! Yes, it is a spooky song...
