Blue Tie

Once in awhile I discover that sweet spot
Probably find it more if I wasn’t self taught
Walking on a shore line thinking ‘bout girls.

You take out a girl and give her some French Fries
The next thing she says is I like it super sized
How you gonna please ‘em with no jingle in your pants?

Better lean to love the rope
If you want to go far.

Vicious as a vicar with a hard on in a whore house
Passion in the parking lot fumblin’ with her cotton blouse.
Hand on the gear shift, throttle to the floor.

School wasn’t cool until you learned how to skip it
Finely figured figs leadin’ prey to the love pit
What the hell happened? Now you gotta get a job.

Better lean to love the rope
If you want to go far.

Job interview with a man in a Blue Tie
Got distracted when I noticed his fly
Down around his knees where it don’t belong.

Man in the Blue Tie says, “I’ll give you a job
if you take a pee in this paper cup
Get any on the floor, comes out of your pay.

Next thing you know,
You’re moppin’ the floor.

Cat’s got your tongue stapled to a paycheck
Say something funny they act like it’s a train wreck
Man with the Blue Tie standing at your door.

Man with the Blue Tie tells you to hit the road
You’re talking in tongues, but it sounds like Morse Code
Finger in your pocket, gonna show it to the world.

The next thing you know.
You’re drunk as a lord.

Those are some lyrics!
Nice one Tim.

Uncomfortably true I think.

I like the kind of rambling feel about it but most of all I like the lyrics.

Pretty lo-fi in execution but...
at least it uses the popular hard on keyword so folks can find it easily. It is a good song but it sounds like it was recorded on an old cassette recorder from another room. Are all your songs that way? well, keep it up.

Blue Tie
Moves along well and the lyrics are entertaining. Vocal a bit indistinct for mine, but I I enjoyed listening nonetheless.

Sweet spot
That emphasis on the last two syllabus is totally what makes the old-time rock'n'roll idiom. Enjoyed.
