Highland Cathedral - Final Recording

Description
I felt my original was a little without the 'Ooomph' it needed, so I re-wrote and re-recorded it. Still puts me in mind of my dear father whenever I hear it, but It seems fitting that I also think of my great grandfather on this eve of remeberance day - Jabez Mountain!

This develops a simple theme very majestically
This song starts simply and develops beautifully.

The only I-hope-constructive comment that I might make with regards to the recording is that it sounds like it has an awful lot going on at the very same time in the mid-to-high frequency bands ... with a lot of action in the “very high” frequencies coming from many different sources ... and without solid support in the bass registers.   For instance, as the string accompaniment supports the main theme in its opening statement, those strings are existing in the very same sonic space and at very comparable volume, and there is not too much happening below.   Much of the present orchestration is like that.   As the song reaches its majestic climax, it is still, to my ears, very much still crowded into that same space.   The very-high freqs, I think, could definitely use some thinning and less competition as more-and-more parts are added.
