Lyrics
This Brexit Mess

Omni-shambles - more not less – just a year to fix this BREXIT mess
Your half-baked plans - they don't impress – so step aside now
This self-inflicted festering sore - oozing puss that drips before
It’s far too late to seek a cure – as the clock ticks down

That Cameron clown who kicked it off – that reckless, Eton Oxbridge toff
Just for tory party unity – he screwed the UK
Well your party's over - time to leave - say what you like - we won't believe
In any future plan you might conceive - so don't even try

Some just want a hard one – while soft’s what others choose
But for remainers here amongst us – whichever way - we’ll loose
Fed misinformation – deliberately deceived
Have the people really spoken? – do we stay or do we leave?

Can someone please now get a grip - as down this icy slope we slip
Where’s that strong and stable leadership - go away – Mrs May
Johnson, Gove - their treachery - their raison d'etre - me, me, me
Self-promotion shamelessly - the name of their game

Some just want a hard one – while soft’s what others choose
But for remainers here amongst us – whichever way - we’ll loose
Fed misinformation – deliberately deceived
Have the people really spoken? – do we stay or do we leave?

Remainer Blues
I am certain from the lyric yer not happy with Brexit. I am impressed with the hateful tone you managed.
The guitar lick ya based this on works really well in the context of a traditional protest song. My suggestion would be to craft a snappy slogan chorus, the idea in what you have created is: if society does not do what WE want the world is over. Stiff upper lip and all that gives way to bleak hateful desperation? Sounds like an American leftist point of view.
Best of luck then...

it's a real pity, tha way things turn out
I think guys like Farrage, who left the sinking ship should be locked up.
I think the UK is better of in the European community
Good song!

With you all the way on this!
It's a mess without a doubt and yet still half the population doesn't seem to realise it.

Stupidity or laziness?

Nicely done. The guitar work is great and the lyrics spot on.

Cheers

Dick

lovely guitar
love your playing, great overall sound. good job.

if you pushed me for criticism I would dial down the reverb on the vocal, step back and sing out with a bit more"vim". your voice is good and you can get more out of it.

its going to be ok in the end. nobody cared about this stuff until the referendum.

Born and bred in Liverpool and like most kids from that place got my first guitar as a young teenager (in the late 60s). I've been dabbling with a guitar or two ever since and couldn't imagine life without one. I've never had any musical training (pr... [see more]
