Cool piece!
The guitars somehow give it a surf feel in places! Enjoyed!

Surf!
That I was not expecting, but I do like me some whammy bar. (Mine's not working well right now, but I will get it sorted.) Thanks for the kind remarks, Loob.

Big compliment.
I grew up listening to Jerry Donahue in Fairport and Fotheringay.

Yes, drumming extraordinaire.

Lovely playing and a clean mix.

Cheers

Thank you, Mr L.
David's contributions improve whatever I come up with, and from then on it's a collaboration.

Glad
to hear David has a little extra time to pop back up now and then; he's sort of part of your sound now. This sounds very 'British' and elegant, and a bit like an interlude that you'd place between two, let's say weirder, songs.

Weirder
Yes, I do weirder. I know what you mean. In isolation it's pleasant. In a sequence of songs it might be a respite or an introduction. Cheers, Sam.

Lots of cymbals
The guys from the ventures called they want their bag back. The dry surf guitar is just a fun thing on here and while a bit shopworn I was able to listen all the way through, the harmony guitar at about 2:30 was a highlight for me, just love those production preferences.
Thanks for posting your work, you are keeping the bar high and I appreciate that so much, always a great listen.

Yes, many.
It's just a little instrumental. I like the bit that veers between B and C. Thanks for the kind words, Daug.

Tone and flavor of this had me from the first measure....and yes those drums. Really nice to hear a drummer play with pitch, not just beat. Enjoyed this very much!

Thanks, KC
I'm so happy to have a real drummer to play with. It makes a massive difference, especially when he's as musical as David.

I'm not much of a keyboard player, but overall this sounds a bit like jazz, so I'm happy.

A serious drummer makes a huge difference, as does a serious collaborator. I'm so lucky to have both!

Enjoyed
Like many have said the drumming is superb but it would be nothing without the guitar playing. A great piece and like someone else mentioned I could hear this as a "joining" piece.

Yes.
It's not special in and of itself, but it's not bad, and would lead into something else rather nicely. Thanks for the listen, Stan, er, Steve.

Big Jobs kept me from commenting earlier
First I would like to comment on the mix ... clear and sounds good on my computer speakers and my cans. You are getting a sweet clean tone from your guitar tracks. Really well done. Enjoyed the play of notes between the piano and guitar at the end.

The Mixbus effect
Tracked in Garageband, mixed and mastered in Harrison Mixbus. It's hard to mess things up with Mixbus. Thanks for the kind remarks, Stan.

Cool jam!
Sorry I'm so late. I don't get much online time these days.

I love that melody of that walking lead riff. Fine keyboard playing and sound as well.
