Description
Kinda got away from me didn't it. It was pretty funny when I started with the lyrics, and, then the slide solos kinda wiped out the vocals...
Oh well... I had a valid reason to screw it up...
Special dedication to my friend Suz. She suffered a third aneurism yesterday and died at home with her cats. I took her to lunch earlier this month. After the first two strokes her speech was left slurred but her mind was intact for the most part. She was just tired all the time because of the medication she was taking to prevent the third stroke. She loved old fashioned cheese burgers and fries, or IHOP. God speed kid, see you on the other side...

Hello Charlie
Poodle Dog is a joint in urban Austin Texas. At one time it was a great place to play live music. There was a great house band most of time. Before CDs the band had to know all the tunes... so the old guys can play everything and learn stuff on the gig. Stump the band was Tuesday night...

Very nicely arranged. I drove by what used to be the Poodle Dog just yesterday. The outside hasn't changed much, but it's now the Aristocrat -- quite the name for a dive bar. So sorry to hear about your friend.

All in the Mix
Same template here that I have been using since January. The bass is bussed out. There is a high and low texture added. So the final product is actually a composite of the sound of my Fender Fretless with a sub and a high pass set at about 3.1... Hope that helps...

Been here since the place opened. I hope you enjoy yourself here at MJ. In fall 2009, I erased the 60+ tunes I had posted since day one. MJ had changed, becoming hateful and repressive, and I needed to respond appropriately. What happe... [see more]
