Description
There where comments from Mimi, Dadai and bronco that I make the vocals stand out a bit so here is another shot at it. I try to soften the guitar as well. Thanks to all for the inspiration.

keeps growing on me
This song just keeps growing on me, Bill. (See comments I
made on previous version just before you got this one
posted) Makes me smile each time I hear it.

I know what you mean. That's why I wish they would let us update files instead
of doing whole new submissions. Often, I get a new song posted and then hear
some small thing that I want to change or get a comment about something that
is easy to fix; I don't want people to hear or download the version with the
problem at that point but I don't want to delete the comments and fans, and I
don't want to dilute the song's presence in the list with too many versions. But I
do the same thing. Anyway, I'll keep keepin' my eye out for any more new
versions you might post. :)

It was growing on me so I listened to it again and noticed the subtle shift in chords. That put a smile on my face.

Fun stuff
This is nice and quirky - very different to your usual stuff.
Reminds me a bit of a guy called Adam Green, particularly
the vocals..
I think there is one dodgy note on the vocals at the
beginning but by the end you are really soaring!

Great All Around
Bill - Don't think you can get any better than this! Vocals,
guitar, everything are great! Perfect example of someone
who uses his musicianship and growing knowledge of GB
to explore the digital universe and go boldly where he
hasn't gone before.

I keep trying though, I'll upload it then think that something is wrong here or
there. I keep trying.

Thanks

I'd like to hear more guitar work in the beginning and
throughout the tune. Gotta love the Takamine! Good job.

I was going to do that, I put in quite a bit of time in doing that. Trying to fit in a
nice lead guitar, but I wasn't satisfied with it. I just am not sure if it will fit or
not.

I'll be honest, Bill
I was looking to see if any forum chat ever mentioned Adam Green. He's fairly new to me and I like the straight-no-chaser vocal recordings, right up front. I'm toying with the idea of seeing him in Glasgow.

So the search directs me to Stevel's comment on I See and hey, what a great surprise! Sure it's all over the shop, but that's the appeal here. Great stuff and by now you're thinking your GB mastery is a zillion miles away from then, but all the same, I think it's a great number; also reminds me of the Divine Comedy's Neil Hannon.

A diamond of a song in the seam of Macjams coal....heh heh!

Cheers Bill.

(Now I've gone and written this and haven't checked to see if you ever did versions 7, 8 & 9...!)
